Table aggregation & pivot User guide

Summarize rows by group and pivot column.

Instructions

  1. Import a table or use New table to enter headers and values. Paste data in the CSV tab, or edit cells directly in Table.
  2. Choose row and optional column groups, value column and sum, average, count, minimum or maximum. No column group aggregates by rows only.
  3. Build the pivot, inspect the result and save CSV or XLSX.

Sum, average, minimum and maximum require numeric values. Row count does not need a value column.

  • Sum, average, minimum and maximum require numeric values. Row count does not need a value column.
  • This creates an ordinary aggregated table, not an Excel pivot object. Filters and multilevel grouping are not provided.
